CNC Machining, Laser Cutting and Engraving

The versatility of our catalog of machines gives us the opportunity to work with a range of media varying from papers and card, cloth and leather to acrylic and engineering plastics, mdf, wood and laminates. We can cut up to a thickness of 20mm in some materials. 
While we cannot cut metal with our laser, we can permanently mark metal individual items, product brand logos or signs and advertising displays for example.
We can engrave suitable photographs and graphics in 256 greyscale, to a resolution of 1000dpi onto a variety of materials. 
You can provide your own media or we can supply to order or work from our range of standard materials.


CAD Drawing

CNC machines, like our Laser Cutters, Routers, and 3D printers require files to map the desired tool path. If you don't have suitable files, our in house CAD specialists can create these files for you, or fine tune existing drawings.. 

We work mainly with dxf and cdr files for vector work and most bitmap files are suitable for raster engraving. We can prepare artwork for cutting or engraving from over 70 file types including, .cdr, .dxf, .ai, .pdf, .eps, .svg, .plt, .bmp, .jpg, .tiff, .gif, .png... so whether your designs are sent to us ready for cutting by your drawing office or  shown in your sketchbook, we have 

For more complex designs and three dimensional work, we partner with a 3D scanning company.

Design Expertise

The size and capability of our machines enable us to work with a wide range of industries including the creative arts and design, crafts, advertising and branding, fabrication, engineering, architectural, animation and model making sectors, and clients with differing knowledge of production processes. Our experienced team are always available to consult on design and production decisions big or small. The items that can be worked by our laser technology are too numerous to mention and the designs that can be produced from a wide array of materials are only limited by imagination. Description title

Our large versatile 120Watt laser  machine has a working area of 1500mm x 800mm, whilst our smaller 120Watt Trotec laser has a bed size of 730mm x 430mm and is height adjustable to accommodate objects up to 10.5" (267mm) tall.

We also have a rotary attachment facility, enabling us to engrave cylindrical objects up to 4" (100mm) diameter.
